Althogh Mathematics Applied and Computation is a major of Maths that hasn't a lot practical use than other careers and one has never been the most popular, I would like to say that it provides very importants items wich to the people needs known about.
Fisrt of all is that it offers a wide variety of jobs with the most remunerations. Companies searchs proffesionals our profile because we're working to develop mathematical models their problems and give them solutions. The second is that we have the posibility of working from home; we joined to set of homeoffice it allowing us have a balance between the personal life and the jobs. And finally this major give us the privilege for understanting how is world working. However MAC have their complications.
At one I going to set out the reasons why MAC is unpopular:
- A bad experience with maths
- The time of major
- A low diffusion of MAC
- Lack of a computer or money
- FES Acatlán is only faculty of Mexico that has it
- It has more 50% of academic dropout
